Pilates is a postural exercise class that strengthens the core, improves posture, balance and flexibility.
Pilates with Props- this class uses Props such as a small exercise ball, resistance bands, the Pilates Ring and more to add an extra challenge to the Pilates workouts!
Barre is a fusion class that combines elements of dance, Pilates, muscle endurance and stretching for a great workout!
Barre-Belle is a strength based Barre workout! We will be using light weights, resistance bands and weight to lengthen and tone muscles!
Women and Weights is a strength based class, we will be using heavier weights to get stronger, boost metabolism and feel great!
Stretch and Strength- in this class we will be doing lots of great stretches and body weight exercises!
Fit to the Core- this class is for teen girls. We will work on core strength, muscular endurance, balance and flexibility.
At my home studio I will be having dance classes for ages 2-5. There are 2 options-
Music and Movement for ages 2-4. This is more of a fun a games class.each 6-weeks will have a theme like going to the zoo, under the Sea and circus.
Pre-K Dance is for ages 3-5 and is a beginning ballet class, but we do lots of fun activities to learn how to move our bodies and basic ballet terms.
All other dance classes will be at the activity center at Hillcrest Park and registration will be done through Mount Vernon Parks and Rec.
